GOOGLE ALGORITHM UPDATES

Google will always update the Algorithm from time to time and any update by Google Side is called is Google Algorithm Update That’s Helps to better understand the user query and provide exact results. I’ve described Some Google Algorithms below:

Google Hummingbird 

Google launched the Hummingbirds in September 2013. Hummingbird is designed to apply the meaning technology to billion from across the web pages which may bring back the better result.

The goal is that pages matching the meaning do better, rather than pages matching just a few words.

Google Panda Update

Google Panda is a change to Google’s search results ranking algorithm that was first released in February 2011. The change aimed to lower the rank of “low-quality sites” or “poor content sites”, in particular, and return higher-quality sites near the top of the search results.

Google’s Panda meant to stop sites with poor quality content from working their way into Google’s top search results. Panda is updated from time-to-time. When this happens, sites previously hit may escape, if they’ve made the right changes. Panda may also catch sites that escaped before.

Google Penguin Update

Google launched the Google penguin in 24 April 2012. Penguin is the main work Punish those sites that do not follow google guidelines.

When a new Penguin Update is released, sites that have taken action to remove bad links or which may bring back better results on google.

Google Pigeon Update 

Pigeon Update is Launched on 24th July 2017 for the U.S. Pigeon Update is a new algorithm to provide more useful, relevant, and accurate local search results that are tied more closely to traditional web search ranking signals. Google stated that this new algorithm improves their distance and location ranking parameters(fully filled out, lots of excellent reviews, the proper address and contact information matching other citations online) is also important, though in some cases the local listings might not even be showing in the search results like they used to. Other than that sites aren’t getting penalized by Penguin, though traffic may drop because of it.

Google Mobile-Friendly Update 

Google launched the Mobile-friendly update on April 21, 2015. The mobile-friendly update means we can see the web page on our mobile phones. If we want to check that our web page is mobile-friendly or not then we can check in google just write mobile-friendly test tools in google.

The change is so significant that the date it happened is being referred to by a variety of names. Here at Search Engine Land, we’re calling it mobilegeddon, but sometimes it’s also referred to as Mobilepocalyse.
